Costas Mourselas lives in Athens. He was born in Piraeus and studied law but soon relinquished practice to work as a civil servant, which he did until he was dismissed by the Junta until 1969.
Since then he has been a full-time time professional writer.
For years he wrote plays and turned to fiction in 1990.
He has written a series of essays on aesthetics and 130 one-act satirical television plays titled This One and That One and numerous columns in Ta Nea newspaper under the title Chatting.
His plays have been performed by the Elefthero Theatro, the National Theatre, Theato Technis, the State Theatre of Northern Greece, municipal theaters and theatre companies from Cyprus, France and Germany.
