| 02. Παράταση αιτήσεων για συμμετοχή στο πρόγραμμα «Φράσις» του ΕΚΕΒΙ | | Η Επιτροπή του Προγράμματος «Φράσις» του Εθνικού Κέντρου Βιβλίου (ΕΚΕΒΙ) συνεδρίασε στις 13 Μαΐου αποφασίζοντας να παραταθεί έως τις αρχές Ιουνίου η δυνατότητα υποβολής αιτήσεων από ενδιαφερόμενους εκδοτικούς οίκους, φορείς, πνευματικά ιδρύματα και πολιτιστικούς οργανισμούς του εξωτερικού για την επιχορήγηση μεταφράσεων Ελλήνων συγγραφέων. |  |
| 07. Τα Εργαστήρια Βιβλίου του ΕΚΕΒΙ | | Από το Εθνικό Κέντρο Βιβλίου διευκρινίζεται ότι η λειτουργία των Εργαστηρίων Βιβλίου του ΕΚΕΒΙ έχει προς το παρόν ανασταλεί και σε κανέναν δεν έχει παρασχεθεί το δικαίωμα να παρουσιάζεται ως συνεχιστής.
Σχετικά με το θέμα έχει αποσταλεί εξώδικο προς το βιβλιοπωλείο που εμφανίζεται με διαφημίσεις ως συνεχιστής των Εργαστηρίων που επί σειρά ετών λειτούργησαν με επιτυχία από το ΕΚΕΒΙ. | |

A woman who leaves a wild party on Christmas Eve suddenly finds herself alone, in the midst of a city she does not recognize. Beneath its customary surface is another, utterly different Athens. It is a vast, opaque city, where shadowy figures occasionally emerge from the darkness. A colourful cast of prostitutes, thieves and politicians guides the protagonist round the unfamiliar urban landscape, revealing the most paradoxical truths. Ersi Sotiropoulos has always had her own slant on reality; in her latest novel she takes it to the limit. Her heroes conduct a riotous celebration from their everyday lives on the sidelines of society. With Eva, the author brings together elements from both a road story and a quest for self-knowledge. While the heroine may glorify her loneliness, she is sarcastic about others and herself, questioning and challenging whatever and whoever she encounters.
