Giorgos Botsos was born in Athens in 1960 and graduated from the politics department of Athens Law School. In 1987 he published his first comics in Babel magazine, to which he still contributes. His work has appeared in individual and group exhibitions in Greece and abroad, and he has contributed illustrations to publications in France (L’echo des Savannes), Italy (Dolce Vita and Austria (1001 buch). As well as writing texts for advertising companies he is artistic director of Schulz and Friends. He is also director of drawing, comics and cartoons at the AKTO college of art and design.
