Lina Lychnara studied theater and cinema in Athens and contemporary literature at the Sorbonne in Paris, where she did a PhD in comparative literature. She teaches university-level courses at the French institute.
She has published books on the work of Elytis and Seferis and contributes literary reviews to To Vima daily newspaper.
He first children’s book, Lydia in the Land of Colours, was published by Kastaniotis in 2004, and the second, In Aki’s Playhouse, by Kedros in 2006.
Lydia Lychnara received the Phoenix Award from the French Government for her contribution to French culture.
