Sotiris Dimitriou was born in 1955 in Thesprotia. He lives and works in Athens. He won the Diavazo literary journal short story prize in 1999 for The Vein in the Neck and again in 2002 for Good Moves Slowly. He won Ta Nea newspaper’s short story prize in 1987 for Woof, Woof Dear Lord.
