Vangelis Driskas has worked for the past 15 years as a chef and culinary consultant at leading restaurants, mainly in Athens, specialising in creative Greek cuisine. Since the 2001-2002 television season, he has had cookery programmes on Greek television (on the daily 10-2 programme on ET1, Straight to the Kitchen on Mega, and he contributed to the Delicious Meals in a Minute cookery programme on ANT1).
He teaches at Gastronomic Education, a privately owned school, and gives many seminars in Greece and abroad on the subject of contemporary and traditional Greek cuisine, and the ingredients and techniques of various national cuisines.
