Fivos Botsis was born in 1980. He studied law in Athens and Paris, specializing in constitutional law and the international protection of human rights.
He won a distinction in a Mega/Filmnet competition for young screenwriters, and has collaborated with director Michalis Reppas and Thanasis Papathanasiou on Safe Sex, a TV series that ran 2004-2007. In 2008 he won the First State prize for young playwrights for Flamingos
