Polydoros Sopasis
The Law of the Lawless, Issue No 49

Polidoros Sopasis was born in Livadeia Mylopotamou, Crete in 1958, into a large, impoverished family. He never attended school and was first arrested for delinquency at the age of ten. In 1977, he went to New York where he got involved with the Mafia and took part in robberies. He was arrested and spent nine years in high-security prisons, often in solitary confinement. On his release he returned to Greece where he started a family. The Law of the Lawless tells the story of his American experience.
