Dimitris Mamaloukas was born in 1968 in Athens, where he now lives. He graduated in philosophy from the University of Lecce, Italy.
He is a translator and also writes literary reviews for the Sunday issue of Avgi newspaper and for Diavazo literary magazine.
He has written three novels, As Long As There Is Alcohol There Is Hope (pub Apopira, 1999), which was made into a film with the title As Long As There Is Alcohol, Death in Votanikos (pub. Kastaniotis, 2003) and The Kidnapping of the Publisher (Kastaniotis, 2005).
