Marianna Koromila
 Happy To Have Made the Journey of Odysseus, Issue No 24

Marianna Koromila was born in Athens in 1949. She started making youth programmes on state radio in 1966. She later worked as a tour guide while completing her studies of history and philosophy in Paris.
Returning to radio in 1975, she made more than 2,000 programmes on historical themes. She has made dozens of trips to the Middle East, Turkey, the Black Sea and the Balkans, contributed to Greek and foreign books, journals, newspapers and television programmes. She created and developed the Panorama cultural centre, where she organizes seminars, lectures, trips, exhibitions and children’s activities as well as events relating to history, culture and the environment.
She won the Athens Academy award for her book The Greeks of the Black Sea, published in 1991.
