Kostas Katsoularis was born in Arta in 1968. He studied economics in Athens and cinema in Paris. His best-known books are the novella, Stories about Foam (Estia, 1997), the novels, The Margarita Syndrome (Estia, 1998), The Rival (Polis, 2055), and the play When the Wolf Is Here (Polis, 2004). He lives in Athens where he works as a writer and translator. He has written literary reviews for To Vima newspaper’s book supplement Vivlia, Eleftheros Typos newspaper and Diavazo literary journal.
