Chrysanthi Protopsaltou lives in Veria, where she was born in 1973. She studied nursery school teaching in Thessaloniki and works in a nursery school. She began writing stories to entertain her sons and then her pupils. They were published after she won a competition held by her publisher, Modern Times.
