Alexandra Bizi was born in Serres in 1965. She studied law at Aristotle University Thessaloniki and acting at the Theater Workshop of Vasilis Diamantopoulos. She has worked as a lawyer and an actress. Her fairytale, Tipoukiti Flaukiti Saves the Sea won a competition held by the Union of Greek Writers. Flabelino and the Stolen Watch came out in 2003.
