Eleni Gage studied folklore and mythology at Harvard and has a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing from Columbia. A freelance journalist and instructor of writing composition at Columbia University, she has written about Greece for publications including Elle, Travel+Leisure and the New York Sun. Her first book, North of Ithaca, describes the year she spent in the mountain village of Lia, where her father was born. She is currently working on her first novel.
