Dimitra Spyridonos was born in Athens in 1974. She studied stage design at Central Saint Martins in London. Apart from stage and costume design, she has also done murals, sculpture, and interior design, and began illustrating books in 1998. She teaches drawing and modelling at the Nafplion University of Theatre Studies.
