Dimitris Garoufalis
 Odyssey: A Voyage in the Mediterranean of Legend, Issue No 33

Dimitris Garoufalis was born in Methoni, Messenia, in 1967, and grew up in Athens. He studied archaeology at Athens University and is currently completing a doctorate in prehistoric archaeology. A teacher since 1994, Garoufalis has also participated in excavations in Crete and Ithaki. From 1999 to 2005 he was editor in chief of the monthly journal Corpus: Archaeology and History of Civilizations (1999-2005). In addition to a book on the Persian Wars, he has written numerous articles and edited several books on archaeology. Odyssey: A Voyage in the Mediterranean of Legend is his second book.
