Ilias Nikolakopoulos was born in Athens n 1947. He studied mathematics in Athens. Lausanne and Paris then specialized in electoral sociology. He worked for many years at the National Centre for Social Research and is now a deputy professor in the Political Science and Public Administration department of Athens University. He is a regular contributor to Ta Nea newspaper and Mega Channel television station, where he analyses election and poll results.
