Nikos M. Skouteropoulos was born in Athens in 1938. He studied classics and philosophy at the universities of Athens, Gottingen and Tubingen. He has published three studies of Platonic dialogues, Lysis, Euthyphron and Euthydemos, and has translated works by writers including Nietzsche, Husserl and Windelban. He teaches the history of philosophy at Athens University
