A young woman whose marriage has given her no cause for complaint embarks on an affair. Her husband promptly follows suit, starting a relationship with a much younger woman. Suddenly passion assumes command and the outcome of the ensuing furore almost proves fatal. Disaster is averted, however, when reason prevails.
