| 02. Παράταση αιτήσεων για συμμετοχή στο πρόγραμμα «Φράσις» του ΕΚΕΒΙ | | Η Επιτροπή του Προγράμματος «Φράσις» του Εθνικού Κέντρου Βιβλίου (ΕΚΕΒΙ) συνεδρίασε στις 13 Μαΐου αποφασίζοντας να παραταθεί έως τις αρχές Ιουνίου η δυνατότητα υποβολής αιτήσεων από ενδιαφερόμενους εκδοτικούς οίκους, φορείς, πνευματικά ιδρύματα και πολιτιστικούς οργανισμούς του εξωτερικού για την επιχορήγηση μεταφράσεων Ελλήνων συγγραφέων. |  |
| 07. Τα Εργαστήρια Βιβλίου του ΕΚΕΒΙ | | Από το Εθνικό Κέντρο Βιβλίου διευκρινίζεται ότι η λειτουργία των Εργαστηρίων Βιβλίου του ΕΚΕΒΙ έχει προς το παρόν ανασταλεί και σε κανέναν δεν έχει παρασχεθεί το δικαίωμα να παρουσιάζεται ως συνεχιστής.
Σχετικά με το θέμα έχει αποσταλεί εξώδικο προς το βιβλιοπωλείο που εμφανίζεται με διαφημίσεις ως συνεχιστής των Εργαστηρίων που επί σειρά ετών λειτούργησαν με επιτυχία από το ΕΚΕΒΙ. | |

The son of a rich family with connections and activities in various parts of Europe becomes an international terrorist in The Yellow Footprint on the Grass by Tolis Nikiforou. The author, a poet with a deep awareness of socio-political issues, has written a detective novel set on the world’s troubled political stage.
His is one of several Greek books that are part of a shift in the genre towards Left-wing thinking and the issue of globalization.
Despite the extreme and violent nature of the events, the characters are finely drawn and are convincing both as personalities and in their behaviour.
The plot is tightly constructed; the narrative flows rapidly and on many levels, with parallel action in different times and places, from Greece to England and Spain, as the author maintains a multiple focus on people and situations. It is an eloquent account of how terrorist organizations operate in Greece.
