| 02. Παράταση αιτήσεων για συμμετοχή στο πρόγραμμα «Φράσις» του ΕΚΕΒΙ | | Η Επιτροπή του Προγράμματος «Φράσις» του Εθνικού Κέντρου Βιβλίου (ΕΚΕΒΙ) συνεδρίασε στις 13 Μαΐου αποφασίζοντας να παραταθεί έως τις αρχές Ιουνίου η δυνατότητα υποβολής αιτήσεων από ενδιαφερόμενους εκδοτικούς οίκους, φορείς, πνευματικά ιδρύματα και πολιτιστικούς οργανισμούς του εξωτερικού για την επιχορήγηση μεταφράσεων Ελλήνων συγγραφέων. |  |
| 07. Τα Εργαστήρια Βιβλίου του ΕΚΕΒΙ | | Από το Εθνικό Κέντρο Βιβλίου διευκρινίζεται ότι η λειτουργία των Εργαστηρίων Βιβλίου του ΕΚΕΒΙ έχει προς το παρόν ανασταλεί και σε κανέναν δεν έχει παρασχεθεί το δικαίωμα να παρουσιάζεται ως συνεχιστής.
Σχετικά με το θέμα έχει αποσταλεί εξώδικο προς το βιβλιοπωλείο που εμφανίζεται με διαφημίσεις ως συνεχιστής των Εργαστηρίων που επί σειρά ετών λειτούργησαν με επιτυχία από το ΕΚΕΒΙ. | |

When a peculiar detective is found murdered in his room in a Corfu mansion, Inspector Gerakis is called in to solve the crime. The suspects include an elderly gentleman and his beautiful young wife, pieces of jewellery that disappear as if by magic, a fortune hunter of inscrutable intentions, a man in love, a couple not so much in love and a ghost capable of anything.
The ghost is good value: instead of dragging its heavy chains round the Corfu villa, spreading terror among the residents, it prefers to spend its time on making mischief and causing damage.
The writer retains the narrative structure of the mystery while openly mocking the ghost story genre, in a tightly-knit, fast-paced story. Subtle irony comes into play as the characters are all too ready to lay the blame on each other but also to undermine themselves in the most revealing fashion.
