Myrto Pitaouli was born in Athens, and studied at the Ursulines’ French-Greek School. As a teenager she won first prize in a writing competition held at all Greek-French schools in Greece. She has worked as a journalist on radio and television and is currently at Star television channel. The Diary of an Anorexic is her first book and is based on personal experience.
