Dionysia Gialama did research on a scholarship at the Greek Institute of Byzantine and Post-Byzantine Studies in Venice and holds a PhD from Ioannina University. She has participated in international conferences, and written studies and articles on the social history of ideas in the Greek world under Venetian rule. She teaches at a secondary school.
