Yiannis Kalpouzos was born in Melates, Arta, in 1960, and moved to Athens in 1982. He writes poetry, short stories and novels. Since 1995 he has written lyrics for 65 songs, many of which have had great success. He also penned the lyrics for the 18 songs in the children’s play, Tenderthorn.
