Vassilis Papatheodorou was born in 1967 in Athens. He studied engineering at the National Technical University of Athens and did postgraduate studies in business management. He has written seven books for children. His work has won several awards, including the 2008 Diavazo prize for fiction for older children for Breath on the Window Pane.
