Vasso Yiareni was born in Athens. She studied piano and musical theory at the National Conservatory. After spending some years teaching music and piano, she turned her attention to the art of puppet theatre. She is a founding member of the Koukou-Mouklo troupe and she also enjoys writing and illustrating stories.
