| Mobile Exhibitions
As part of the commemorative events it held to mark 100 years from the birth of Andreas Embiricos, 150 years since the birth of Alexandros Papadiamantis, 50 years since the death of Grigoris Xenopoulos and Angelos Sikelianos, 60 years since the death of Kostis Palamas, 100 years since the birth of Giorgos Theotokas, 120 years since the birth of Nikos Kazantzakis, 100 years since the birth of Nikos Engonopoulos and 100 years since the birth of M. Karagatsis, EKEBI created mobile exhibitions about the nine authors which included data and information about their life and works useful for those familiar with them and for those coming into contact with their diverse work for the first time. More specifically:
- The Embiricos mobile exhibition consisted of 12 display panels measuring 50 x 70 cm with portraits and biographical data about the poet and his work and 11 panels measuring 35 x 50 cm with black and white photographs of the poet and his works.
- The Papadiamantis mobile exhibition consisted of 25 panels measuring 50 x 70 cm with portraits and information about the writer and his works.
- The Xenopoulos mobile exhibition consisted of 14 panels measuring 50 x 70 cm with portraits and information about the writer and his works.
- The Sikelianos mobile exhibition consisted of 13 panels measuring 50 x 70 cm with portraits and information about the writer and his works.
- The Palamas mobile exhibition consisted of 21 panels measuring 50 x 70 cm with portraits and information about the poet and his works.
- The Theotokas mobile exhibition consisted of 18 panels with portraits and information about the writer and his works.
- The Kazantzakis mobile exhibition consisted of 17 coloured vinyl panels measuring 210 x 90 cm fitted into special folding covers which could be carried in two wooden crates. The exhibition included biographical data about Kazantzakis in chronological order, along with historical facts from the time and extensive photographs, manuscripts, first issues of his works and the author’s voice played from a CD concealed in the frames and special lighting.
- The Engonopoulos mobile exhibition consisted of 21 panels measuring 50 x 70 cm with portraits and information about the poet and his works.
The Karagatsis mobile exhibition consisted of 20 panels measuring 50 x 70 cm with portraits and information about the poet and his works. EKEBI takes these exhibitions on trips around schools, libraries and cultural centres nationwide as part of wider events to honour the writers.
