Michel Fais

Michel Fais was born in Komotini in 1957. He works for Vivliothiki, the literary supplement of Eleftherotypia daily, and leads creative writing seminars at the National Book Centre of Greece. He won the State Short Story Award in 2000. His work has been translated into several languages and published in numerous anthologies abroad. He has edited literary series for a number of Greek publishers. He has exhibited his photographs in Athens and Thessaloniki. He and Nikos Panayotopoulos co-wrote the screenplays of the 2004 film Delivery (the official Greek entry at Venice and Montreal film festivals) and Athina-Konstadinoupoli (2008).
