Michalis Magoulas was born in Ithaca in 1950. He studied at Athens Medical School and specialized in ophthalmology at Bristol Eye Hospital in England.
He has a private ophthalmology practice, trains eye specialists and has written widely on his specialty.
He devotes his leisure time to painting, pottery, constructions and cookery.
