Lila Konomara was born in Athens in 1960. She studied contemporary literature in Paris and worked for a number of years as a teacher at the French Institute in Athens. She is a translator. Her first book, Macao, GAP published in 2002, won Divazo magazine’s new writer’s prize in 2003.
